Chancellor, President to Announce Distinguished Faculty Award Winners
The Chancellor’s Council Distinguished Teaching and Research Awards are the most prestigious honors granted to faculty members throughout the Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø.

EVENT: Chancellor and Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø Tech President will present the annual Chancellor’s Council Distinguished Teaching and Research Awards to seven faculty members at Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø Tech University.

The Chancellor’s Council helps advance the important work of the TTU System and its four component institutions – , , and .
The Chancellor’s Council was created in 1967 as the President’s Council to recognize donors who helped Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø Tech accomplish its highest goals. The program was renamed and expanded in 1996 with the establishment of the TTU System. Today, the Chancellor’s Council plays a vital role in creating opportunities for all four universities. The council supports student scholarships, faculty awards and top scholar recruitment.
Award recipients each receive a $5,000 stipend and an engraved medallion.
