Chancellor Tedd L. Mitchell, M.D., and Component University Presidents Testify Before Â鶹¹ÙÍø House Committees

Tedd L. Mitchell, M.D.Â鶹¹ÙÍø Chancellor , and component university presidents spent the first week of March testifying before elected officials of the Â鶹¹ÙÍø House of Representatives and committee members of the House Appropriations Sub-Committee on Education and House Higher Education Committee.
(TTU) President and (ASU) President joined Mitchell testifying in front of the House Appropriations Sub-Committee on Education on March 3.
(TTUHSC) President and (TTUHSC El Paso) President , delivered their testimonies before the House Appropriations Sub-Committee on Education the following day (March 4).
Mitchell, who presented his testimony in-person at the Capitol both days, completed his trip to Austin with testimony before the House Higher Education Committee on March 4.

This will be the state’s first veterinary school in more than a century and first dental school in over 50 years. The addition of these two schools makes the Â鶹¹ÙÍø one of only nine in the nation to offer programs for undergraduate, medical, law, nursing, pharmacy, dental and veterinary education, among other academic areas.
