On Campus Jobs

On-campus jobs employ student employees in hourly, part-time roles across Â鶹¹ÙÍø Tech University. These jobs range from a variety of positions and allow students an opportunity to gain various skills. On-campus student employees may work up to 20 hours per week, depending on the employers availability. There are on-campus jobs that are ‘Student Hourly’ positions and others that are ‘Federal Work Study’ positions. Not all on-campus jobs require a student to be eligible for federal work study (FWS). Federal Work Study eligibility is determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Off Campus Jobs

Off-campus jobs employ students in part-time positions in companies that are in the greater Lubbock area. These positions are directly employed with each individual company. Â鶹¹ÙÍø Tech University helps connect these employers with students through the Red Raider Employment Center.

Internships

Internships allow students to gain experience and skills in their field of interest with a company or organization. Internships that are held during the academic year and are usually part-time and internships that are held in the summer are typically full-time opportunities.
